Weekly Weigh In - Amanda

This week I gained 1.5 pounds. I am very disappointed in myself: in my lack of willpower and my lack of self-control. I am not going to write down every thing I did wrong or make excuses, because I've already done enough of that talking to myself, and honestly, it got me no where. I will say that I vow to get back on the wagon TODAY, and this time I'm getting in the drivers seat.

P.S. I have my ten mile run this Sunday - please pray for me! Only 5 more weeks until the half marathon.

  1. You are doing a great job, everyone has bad weeks.

The important thing is that you went to your meeting and weighed in, and now know where to start; you are also taking control again, which is important. You are doing such good work, don't get discouraged, and don't beat yourself up!

Good luck on your run tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you when I'm doing the 5K!

  2. Mick Jagger once said: "It's ok to let yourself go now and then, so long as you can find your way back."

And it's the one thing I might agree with ol' Mick on. Everyone has weak moments...everyone has a bad week now and then. Don't beat yourself up over it. Turn it around and be productive.
